Hi, I’m Bonica, the Adelaide graphic designer and founder behind BLCreative. I’m genuinely so excited you’re here.
Growing up in Adelaide, I’ve always appreciated the character that comes with life in a smaller city. It’s a place where things feel more personal and connection matters. It’s shaped the way I work with my clients and why I believe every design should feel truly individual, not pulled from a template.
My journey into graphic design started with psychology. Studying psychology got me interested in why people make the choices they do and how design influences those decisions. I’m also a creative at heart, and I knew I wanted to merge the two. I fell into graphic design, and I haven’t looked back since.
Today, I run BLCreative as a one-person design studio in Adelaide, working with ambitious small businesses across South Australia and Australia-wide on brand identity design, logo design, and websites built on WordPress, Shopify and Squarespace.
I’m a big believer that the most beautiful designs are the ones that are unique, not those that chase trends. But the process doesn’t need to be difficult to be impactful. I keep things simple, personal, and keep you at the centre of everything I do.
